In the first renditions of the meme, couples shared screenshots of their first conversations with their engagement photos.

In one viral version of the meme, a Twitter users shared his first DMs with a love interest, phots of a gender reveal party and a baby he thought was his son, and then a photo of a paternity test that said the infant wasn't actually his.
